Two recent articles on Venezuela draw the same conclusion: “Chavez’s Venezuela Corrupt as Hell”

There are two interesting articles from last week’s Miami New Times regarding corruption within the Chavez Administration in Venezuela. The first, a feature-length article entitled “Cedeño: A banker battles Hugo,” describes the harrowing escape of former Venezuelan banker Eligio Cedeño from political persecution in Caracas to safety in Miami, and his continuing efforts to make things right.  The second, entitled “FBI Wiretaps: Chavez’s Venezuela Corrupt as Hell,” discusses an ongoing investigation involving public corruption of high level Venezuelan officials.
